"At first, Prometheus was great to work for. I had a responsive and collegial contact person there. All along, they had paid at below market rates, which I accepted because it was a great opportunity to enhance my resume, and it was steady, interesting work. However, after that contact person left, I began to have huge problems getting answers to questions, particularly: where the heck were my payments? They began to lose my invoices, and the last one that I billed before I stopped asking for work took 4 months to arrive. They were asking for gold-standard work at dirt-level prices. So the two major strikes against them: low pay, and very slow payment cycles. Communication has not been their strong suit as well."
